Tuscany-Style Terrace

It is a very special experience to relax on this beautiful terrace under the shade of mighty trees. Enjoy the great view reaching over the Rhine valley all the way to the Black Forest. Have a glass of wine, enjoy one of the many culinary specialties and let life show itself from its best side.

Our Terrace Restaurant

Inside the air conditioned rooms of our terrace restaurant you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the Rhine valley and the green hills of the Palatinate forest with its rocks and ancient fortresses. A skilled and experienced service and kitchen team will do its best to pamper you with selected culinary delights.

Under the direction of our chef Hubert Stoll, our kitchen turns the best ingredients into tasteful compositions combining superior quality with a dedication to detail. Hubert Stoll makes use of the abundant offer of regional products varying from season to season, as well as supra-regional and international specialties provided by selected suppliers.

The restaurant offers 100 seats and also provides smaller groups of up to 20 persons with the opportunity to enjoy a meal together.

Restaurant director Sadok Guesmi and his team will cater to you with a competent and attentive service that will turn your visit in our restaurant into a relaxing and unforgettable experience. Usually the chef is personally present to guarantee the utmost satisfaction of his guests.

In summertime you can enjoy the complete offer of our menu on the adjoining outside terrace as well. That is, if you do not prefer to dine on our second terrace in the shadow of old trees. During the warmer season, we also offer a range of especially composed light dishes.

Open Fire Bar

You find our bar with its open fireplace right next to the lobby. It is the perfect place to meet before or after dinner.

It is a cozy and friendly place for discussions and small talk with a view of the Leinsweiler valley and the Rhine valley as well as the Palatinate Forest with the Slevogthof.

This is where our guests meet before or after dinner to have a drink or engage in a conversation.

Wasgau Room

Whether you are planning a birthday, a wedding or any other family festivity – our Wasgau Room with direct access to the Tuscan-style garden terrace is a paradise for any occasion. This separated event room offers space for up to 70 persons and is a perfect location for any gathering. In combination with the Slevogt Room, we are able to offer you sufficient space for events with up to 120 persons.

The great view over the Rhine valley and the remains of Madenburg castle will turn your event into an impressive experience. Please ask for our menu suggestions. We will assist you during the planing phase of your festivities and will take care of a perfectly organized event.

Slevogt Room

This room was named after the famous German painter and impressionist Prof. Max Slevogt (1868 – 1932) and represents an extraordinary surrounding for your family festivities. It offers space for up to 36 persons who will experience a great evening, turning your festivities into an unforgettable experience.

Our Sandstone Vault

Originally built as a wine cellar, our Sandstone Vault offers sufficient space for up to 40 people.

The times for our gourmet tastings in 2016 are fixed and we invite you to enjoy an unforgettable culinary evening in the extraordinary atmosphere of our Sandstone Vault. On two special Sundays, our chef Hubert Stoll will create a season-related 8 course dinner at the highest level tailored to the seasons Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. For each of these events we plan to invite a top-class winery located in the southern region of the Palatinate.

Quaint get together in the Sandstone Vault

Enjoy a Palatinate 5 course menu including one glass of local sparkling wine to start with and 4 accompanying wines from the region, plus a humorous wine tasting presented by our chef.

  • Variations of Pfälzer Saumagen with Saumagen carpaccio, Saumagenstrudel and fried Saumagen medaillon with a small salad bouquet.

GenEnjoy one or both evenings in our extraordinary Sandstone Vault especially prepared and decorated for that evening. If the weather allows it, the June event will take place at a festively decorated table on our terrace.
